Cook meals at the owners home as planned and store in meal containers for individual or family consumption.

How much does a private household chef service cost per day? It can vary based on location, experience, and requirements. Excluding the cost of food, the typical daily rates estimates are:

Basic Chef: $200 - $350 per day

Experienced Personal Chef: $350 - $600 per day

High-End Trained Chef: $600 - $1,500 per day

A. Personal Nutritional Chef Service:

  • Meal Planning - Creating customized menus based on dietary needs and preferences.

  • Inventory On Site Equipment, supplies and ingredients as appropriate.

  • Ingredient Sourcing & Procurement - Shopping for fresh, high quality ingredients, or working with suppliers.

  • Meal Preparation & Cooking - Preparing meals to quality standards and packed individually or in bulk packaging supplied by owner.

  • Presentation & Service - Owner supplied dishes are used to plate for self service.

  • Kitchen Clean Up - The kitchen is left clean after cooking. Service fees apply if pre-service cleaning is required.

Additional Services as agreed upon are charge separately.

C. Small Event Catering Service:

Collaborate and Plan food services for larger gathering or dinner party at the owners home and organize for self service or hired service.

A personal chef can cater from 1 personal to 50 people depending on the requirements. The numbers of guests they can accommodate depends on factors like menu complexity, kitchen facilities, and whether they have additional staff.

For events with larger number of people, personal chefs will often work with event planners, event porters, front of the house staff or ire extra hands to ensure service goals are achieved.

Typical Capacity:

1-2 people - Intimate dining experiences with personalized service.

4-12 people - Common for private dinner parties, tasting menus, and small events.

12-30 people - Require more prep time, often with a sous chef or server and as such can cost more per person

30+ people - Larger gatherings, require extra staff to assist.
